About the Role

HSE TECH: This position is responsible for field observations to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter who enjoys the challenges of daily involvement with multiple contractors in the chemical industry. • Conduct job walks to learn units and equipment. • Ensure contractors comply with federal, state, and local regulations. • Assist in implementing contractor safety training for employee orientation. • Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions during on‑site inspections. • Participate in safety observation program, submit feedback, and track documents. • Provide advice and counseling on compliance regulations. • Compile and analyze incident reports to develop corrective actions and ensure policy compliance. • Conduct safety walks and audits, offering corrective advice to at‑risk employees. • Operate as a self‑starter while following directives. • Apply high technical expertise to continuous process improvement while maintaining safety.
