About the Role

As a Project Solutions Manager you will drive Stanley Black & Decker’s sales growth across large construction projects in North America, acting as the primary sales lead and trusted advisor to end users, contractors and subcontractors. You will identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities, ensuring SBD’s value‑added solutions become the preferred choice. Key responsibilities include leading sales efforts from pre‑construction planning through project closeout, customizing solutions to maximize efficiency, safety and profitability, and building direct relationships with stakeholders. You will coordinate with internal teams for timely product delivery, develop comprehensive engagement plans aligned with project milestones, monitor metrics and budgets, and continuously seek ways to expand SBD’s footprint and enhance customer satisfaction. • Lead SBD sales on major North American construction projects from pre‑construction to closeout. • Identify customer needs and tailor SBD value‑added solutions to improve efficiency, safety and profitability. • Build and maintain relationships with end users, contractors and subcontractors. • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and resolve issues. • Create and execute project engagement plans aligned with milestones and resources. • Track project metrics, budgets and milestones, reporting impact to leadership. • Seek new opportunities to expand SBD’s footprint and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate loves learning, embraces innovation and has a Bachelor’s degree (Business Management or Engineering preferred) with 10+ years in sales, marketing or related fields. Preferred qualifications include OSHA 10 & 30 certifications, construction project management experience, strong consultative selling skills, ability to influence across all organization levels, budget management, and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time. Proficiency with MS Office, SAP and mobile tools is required. • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Business Management or Engineering focus. • 10+ years sales, marketing or related experience, preferably in construction/industrial sector. • OSHA 10 & 30 certifications preferred; construction project management background. • Proven consultative selling and account management record. • Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills across all organization levels. • Ability to plan and execute meetings/events and manage regional budgets. • Willingness to travel up to 60%; proficient with MS Office, SAP and mobile tools.
