About the Role
The role of HSE Advisor – Process Safety is based in Derby and will be full‑time with five days onsite. The advisor will coordinate and implement process safety arrangements to manage RRSL's high‑consequence hazards and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance. The position sits within the process safety team and works closely with business HS&E and the wider function. The role involves advising the business on process safety, delivering improvement programmes and assuring compliance with COMAH regulations. You will maintain up‑to‑date risk profiles, manage critical controls through maintenance programmes and lead the HS&E Journey to Zero Harm. Coordination of risk‑based assurance, legal compliance and governance frameworks will also be part of the remit. • Advise business on process safety and manage high‑consequence complex hazards. • Support COMAH risk management and ensure compliance with COMAH regulations. • Maintain current business risk profiles and drive risk‑based improvement programmes. • Identify, maintain, and assure HS&E critical controls through appropriate maintenance plans. • Lead process‑safety improvements and coordinate risk‑based assurance activities. • Support HS&E governance, including the Accountability Framework, in partnership with management.

What You Bring
Successful candidates will hold HSE‑related professional certificates and be chartered or working towards chartered membership of IOSH/IEMA. Experience in providing HSE advice, risk‑based solutions and applying COMAH regulations to complex hazards is essential. A Security Check clearance is required; Rolls‑Royce will support applicants who need it, and candidates must be UK nationals or MoD‑approved dual nationals. Applications close on 26 January 2026.
