About the Role
The Project Manager will lead teams in developing design packages, defining scope, establishing schedules, setting milestones, and determining resource requirements, with a strong focus on power sector and electrical design projects. Their expertise ensures that design deliverables meet client specifications and regulatory requirements. Daily coordination with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors ensures tasks stay on schedule and align with project objectives. Progress is monitored through key performance indicators, risk identification, and reporting to senior staff. The manager also supports budget management by tracking expenses, reviewing cost estimates, and ensuring alignment with approved budgets, while maintaining comprehensive project documentation and adhering to ethical and conduct standards. • Lead multidisciplinary design projects for DoD, USACE, MDA, and NAVFAC clients • Define project scope, schedules, milestones, and resource needs • Coordinate daily activities with internal teams, vendors, and contractors • Track KPIs, identify risks, and report progress to senior management • Assist with budget tracking, cost estimating, and expense control • Prepare project documentation, including reports, risk assessments, and closeout files • Ensure compliance with WSP’s Code of Conduct and safety policies

What You Bring
WSP is searching for an experienced Project Manager for its Boise, Idaho office to lead engineering and design projects for U.S. government and military clients. The role involves managing large and mid‑size multidisciplinary projects for Department of Defense branches, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missile Defense Agency, and Navy Facilities Command. Ideal candidates have over ten years of post‑education experience in project management within architecture, engineering, or construction, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and PE or PMP certification. They have three to five years managing federal design projects for agencies such as MDA, USACE, or NAVFAC, possess US citizenship, and are able to work on‑site in a WSP office.
