Assembler (1st Shift)

About the Role

Read and interpret wiring schematics, drawings, and bills of material. Build components of standard and engineered-to-order products using hand tools, torque drivers, and pneumatic tools. Work from manufacturing information such as Kanban cards, material requisitions, and oral or written instructions. Perform set-ups, minor troubleshooting, and routine preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance of all manufacturing equipment. Ensure quality criteria are met by reviewing documents, executing conscientious assembly, and applying the quality verification checklist. Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of equipment. What You Bring

A minimum of one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Overtime is frequent at this facility, and candidates must be able to work OT hours. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Ability to move material using handling carts (push/pull up to 50 lb) and lift/carry up to 50 lb is required. Team players who can collaborate to complete work assignments per customer orders are sought, and willingness to participate in training opportunities is expected. • Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location (military exempt). • Require at least one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to work overtime as needed. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Capable of moving and lifting up to 50 lb using material handling carts.
