Job Highlights
About the Role
Read and interpret wiring schematics, drawings, and bills of material. Build components of standard and engineered-to-order products using hand tools, torque drivers, and pneumatic tools. Work from manufacturing information such as Kanban cards, material requisitions, and oral or written instructions. Perform set-ups, minor troubleshooting, and routine preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance of all manufacturing equipment. Ensure quality criteria are met by reviewing documents, executing conscientious assembly, and applying the quality verification checklist. Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of equipment. Keep the assigned work area clean, organized, and orderly according to 5S standards and participate in Lean initiatives. • Interpret wiring schematics, drawings, and bills of material. • Assemble standard and engineered-to-order products using hand, torque, and pneumatic tools. • Follow manufacturing instructions from Kanban cards, requisitions, and oral or written directions. • Set up equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform routine preventative maintenance. • Verify quality through document review, careful assembly, and quality checklists. • Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment. • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards and support Lean initiatives. • Collaborate effectively as a team member and engage in training opportunities.

What You Bring
A minimum of one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Overtime is frequent at this facility, and candidates must be able to work OT hours. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Ability to move material using handling carts (push/pull up to 50 lb) and lift/carry up to 50 lb is required. Team players who can collaborate to complete work assignments per customer orders are sought, and willingness to participate in training opportunities is expected. • Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location (military exempt). • Require at least one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to work overtime as needed. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Capable of moving and lifting up to 50 lb using material handling carts.
