About the Role

Join our Calgary Land Development & Municipal Engineering (LDME) team as a Municipal Design Engineer. You will collaborate on impactful projects that shape the future of cities, industries, and the environment, working alongside visionary professionals. The role involves designing a wide variety of projects that enhance communities and infrastructure for public, private, and First Nation clients. • Design land development and municipal infrastructure projects, including site servicing, stormwater, water resources, distribution, sewage, and roadways. • Prepare detailed analyses, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports. • Provide technical advisory services and mentor junior team members. • Support field staff, conduct field reviews, and assist during contract administration. • Coordinate with municipal, utility, and approval agencies to ensure compliance. • Assist in preparing RFPs, bids, and proposal documents to secure new opportunities. • Work with leading global engineers and scientists in a Top 100 Canadian employer.

What You Bring

• 5–10 years experience in municipal infrastructure or land development projects. • Civil engineering degree or diploma from an accredited institution. • Professional designation in Alberta (P.Eng., P.L. Eng., or P.Tech.). • Strong knowledge of local and environmental standards and guidelines. • Proven design experience in sewer, watermain, and road projects.

Compensation varies by region, with salary ranges from $81,100 to $118,900, reflecting education, experience, certifications, and other factors. Final salary will be determined based on these considerations.
