About the Role
The Maintenance Technician at Vue at Centennial supports resident satisfaction by ensuring quality move‑ins, timely service, and personal attention. This role is accountable for delivering on commitments to residents and upholding the company’s standards of superior customer service. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments—such as painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and minor repairs—and promptly addressing resident requests. The technician must be skilled in plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and snow removal, while also maintaining grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog‑park amenities in a clean and safe condition. On‑call scheduling may be required for after‑hour emergencies, and all maintenance concerns in vacant units, model homes, and common areas are reported to the Maintenance Supervisor. The role follows state, local, and federal fair‑housing laws, participates in required training, adheres to uniform and safety standards, and maintains reliable on‑site attendance. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (painting, carpet repair, cleaning, minor repairs). • Respond promptly to resident service requests with a professional attitude. • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal. • Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog‑park amenities in clean, safe condition. • Serve on‑call for after‑hour emergencies and report maintenance issues to the supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair‑housing laws and complete required training. • Adhere to Cushman & Wakefield uniform standards and safety procedures. • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality on site.

What You Bring
Required competencies include a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent), and the ability to read manuals, compute ratios, solve routine problems, and write reports. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical education and have at least one year of related experience. The work environment combines a professional office setting with regular travel between properties, often in varying weather conditions. Physical demands involve standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or moving up to 100 lb, with travel comprising roughly 10 % of time. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent). • Ability to read manuals, compute ratios, solve routine problems, and write reports. • Possess a high school diploma/GED or trade/technical education; 1+ year related experience. • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lb and travel between properties (≈10%).
