About the Role
The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is accountable for all on‑site operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial performance, administration and risk management. • Supervise and develop on‑site staff through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. • Create and monitor operating budgets, rent collections, vendor invoices, and financial reporting to maximize net operating income. • Design and execute annual marketing and leasing plans, conduct showings, and manage lease documentation. • Address resident complaints, implement retention programs, and ensure high resident satisfaction. • Oversee maintenance operations, property inspections, and emergency response to maintain safety and property standards. • Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, fair housing laws, OSHA regulations, and risk‑management procedures.

What You Bring
The role requires flexible hours, on‑call availability for emergencies, and reliable transportation; physical duties involve standing, climbing ladders, and handling objects up to 25 lb. • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or four years housing experience preferred. • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. • Proficiency with on‑site property‑management software and basic computer skills. • Knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA requirements. • Ability to work overtime, weekends and on‑call emergencies; reliable transportation required.
