What You Bring
Electrical industry sales experience selling commercial, industrial, or residential power distribution products in North America, achieving business outcomes exceeding $50M in sales. Minimum eight years of experience in commercial electrical industry sales, marketing, or engineering/operations, and at least three years managing direct sales personnel. Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred. Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship are required. Market knowledge includes familiarity with electrical products and distribution channels, as well as strategic and profit planning experience. Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer relations, and personnel development is essential, accompanied by a professional presence and communication style. Demonstrated ability to set aggressive sales plans, achieve ambitious targets and stretch goals, and maintain rigor, consistency, and a business cadence that drives team performance even in challenging market conditions. Skilled at synthesizing information and using data‑driven arguments to guide decisions. Strong customer orientation and the ability to work with all levels of customer organizations to sell, support products, and understand current and future business needs. Expert negotiation skills, comfort with ambiguity, and the capability to resolve problems, manage conflict, and develop buy‑in.
