About the Role
In this position you will design reference architectures, patterns, and best practices for integrating agentic AI into existing Autodesk platforms, guide reliable deployment, monitoring, anomaly detection, and continuous learning of agentic AI solutions, and champion ethical, safe, and governance‑compliant AI practices. You will also communicate architectural concepts, trade‑offs, and risks to both technical and non‑technical audiences while mentoring teams. • Architect autonomous agents, multi‑agent frameworks, and LLM‑powered AI systems. • Define reference architectures, patterns, and integration best practices for Autodesk platforms. • Evaluate emerging AI models and frameworks, prototype, benchmark, and translate research into production‑ready guidance. • Guide reliable deployment, monitoring, anomaly detection, and continuous learning of agentic AI solutions. • Ensure ethical, safe, and governance‑compliant AI practices, including data privacy and auditability. • Communicate architectural concepts, trade‑offs, and risks to technical and non‑technical stakeholders and mentor teams.

What You Bring
The company is looking for a senior Software Architect for Agentic AI Initiatives who will define, architect, and deliver advanced AI systems capable of autonomous reasoning, decision‑making, and self‑directed execution. The role blends deep technical expertise with architectural leadership and strategic vision, collaborating closely with engineering, product, research, and business leaders. • Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, AI, ML or related field (or equivalent experience). • 15+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in AI/ML engineering or architecture. • Proven track record designing and delivering complex, production‑grade software systems. • Deep knowledge of AI/ML algorithms, frameworks, and large‑scale distributed systems (REST, gRPC, GraphQL, microservices, service mesh, streaming). • Strong API and service design skills, including versioning and backward compatibility. • Excellent written and verbal communication and strong analytical, systems‑thinking abilities. • Experience deploying AI solutions at scale on AWS, Azure, or GCP, especially with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, etc.). • Expertise in database architectures (relational and NoSQL), event‑driven streaming (Kafka, Kinesis), and observability/SRE practices (OpenTelemetry, tracing, SLIs/SLOs). • Knowledge of knowledge graphs, semantic modeling, and ML feature stores. • Hands‑on experience with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (embeddings, vector stores, re‑ranking) and agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, Semantic Kernel). • Familiarity with AI data governance, privacy, safety practices, and LLM observability tools (LangSmith, PromptFlow).
