About the Role
As a DeWALT Service Technician you will work on‑site in a production‑style environment as part of the Product Services team. You will handle repairs of portable electric, pneumatic, construction, and outdoor tools, and will be responsible for troubleshooting, disassembly, and part replacement. The role also includes maintaining a clean, safe workspace and ensuring accurate inventory of parts and accessories. After each repair you will perform performance and safety testing, complete work orders with pricing and customer details, and strive to meet daily productivity targets for the number of tools serviced. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. • Repair portable electric, pneumatic, construction, and outdoor tools, including disassembly and part replacement. • Troubleshoot tool failures using mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics, and service data. • Perform performance and safety testing after repairs and document work orders with pricing and customer information. • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure inventory accuracy for parts and accessories. • Achieve daily/weekly productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards. • Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults. • Conduct basic mathematical calculations and utilize data‑entry and record‑keeping systems.
