About the Role
We are seeking Delivery Leads – Project Managers, Directors and Assistant Project Managers – to manage high‑value, complex projects and programmes in the Defence and Security sector. Reporting to the Senior Delivery Lead, you will be accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and to client expectations, while adhering to the WSP Business Management System. Key responsibilities include scoping and managing resources, finances, schedules, change control, risk and client relationships, as well as chairing meetings, preparing reports and monitoring project finances. You will also support business‑development activities and act as an ambassador for the Defence and Security sector within the firm. • Lead delivery of high‑value Defence and Security construction projects, adhering to the project plan and WSP Business Management System. • Scope and manage resources, finances, schedules, change control, risk, and client relationships. • Chair project meetings, produce reports, organise resources and monitor project finances. • Support business development and act as a sector ambassador within WSP.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will have proven project or programme management experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects in the Defence and Security sector, knowledge of MOD policy, JSP 850, the Green Book and 5‑case model, a relevant technical degree, recognised PM qualifications (PMI, APM, RICS, CIOB) and NEC3/4 certification, and be eligible for Security Clearance. • Demonstrate proven project/programme management experience in Defence and Security construction. • Hold knowledge of MOD policies, JSP 850, the Green Book and 5‑case model. • Possess a relevant technical degree and a recognised PM qualification (PMI, APM, RICS, CIOB) plus NEC3/4 certification. • Be eligible for Security Clearance. • Work flexibly with a hybrid home‑office arrangement (2 days remote) and travel to client sites as needed.
