About the Role
• Lead and facilitate collaborative planning workshops aligning all stakeholders • Support and drive interface planning, managing key internal and external interfaces • Provide critical‑friend support to project teams with challenge, guidance and best practices • Champion planning processes, procedures and governance as an ambassador for high standards • Develop robust, realistic schedule estimates using Primavera P6 • Define Basis of Schedule with assumptions, exclusions, constraints and dependencies • Collaborate with Cost, Risk and wider project teams for integrated planning alignment • Identify interface risks and support QSRA processes alongside the Risk team • Validate schedule estimates using benchmark data and design information, including BIM where applicable

What You Bring
The role requires a minimum of six years’ planning experience, solid construction and infrastructure planning background, proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills. Desirable qualifications include BIM and 4D planning knowledge, relevant degrees or certifications such as APM or PRINCE2, and membership of professional bodies. Candidates must have the full right to work in the UK and be able to work on‑site in Birmingham one to two days per week. • In‑house capability matrix transparently tracks progression and development areas • Strong client‑side experience focused on interface planning • Solid background in construction and infrastructure planning • Proficient in Primavera P6 • 6+ years of planning experience • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement; confident workshop leader • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) • Knowledge of BIM, 4D planning and related digital tools (desirable) • Degree‑level qualification and/or APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification (desirable) • Understanding of procurement processes and NEC/JCT/FIDIC contracts (desirable) • Membership of a relevant professional body such as APM, ICE or CIOB (desirable) • Full right to work in the UK
