About the Role

• Review, code, and process a high volume of invoices in an electronic environment • Process subcontractor progress billings, invoices, and holdback releases • Ensure proper submission of documentation required for invoicing, including statutory declarations, WCB clearance letters, and insurance documentation • Schedule and prepare payment of invoices • Process and reconcile credit card transactions and statements • Set up and maintain vendors, reconcile vendor statements, and respond to vendor inquiries • Administer subcontracts, including issuing and tracking subcontracts (CCA‑1) • Assist in the preparation of provincial sales tax reporting

What You Bring

The Accounts Payable Administrator reports to the Controller and is responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable and subcontract administration. The role works closely with other members of the accounting department, requiring excellent collaboration skills and comfort working as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience, preferably in construction, and must be accurate, detail‑oriented and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills are required, as well as proficiency in MS Office and, preferably, experience with Sage 300 and Timberscan. • Minimum three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in construction • Demonstrate strong communication skills and attention to detail • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Sage 300 and Timberscan is an asset
