About the Role
The Associate Photographer role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com by collecting media for residential listings. Photographers use a Matterport Pro 3 scanner, digital cameras, and an iPad to create 3‑D virtual tours, floor plans, and high‑quality photographs. Each associate is assigned a core territory and scheduled appointments to scan homes and apartments, delivering visual content that drives marketing and rental decisions. Photographers work closely with scheduling, dispatch, sales, research, and management teams to maximize appointment efficiency and meet client demands. They professionally communicate with clients and internal partners, survey one‑mile‑square grids for commercial‑real‑estate data, and adhere to CoStar safety standards while representing the brand. Remote photography managers provide guidance and support across local markets. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and floor plans using Matterport Pro 3 equipment. • Photograph residential properties for marketing on Homes.com and Apartments.com. • Coordinate appointments with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize efficiency. • Survey assigned one‑mile‑square grids to collect commercial real‑estate data. • Follow CoStar safety standards for vehicle and equipment usage. • Work up to eight hours per day, lift equipment up to five pounds, and be available for rotating weekends.

What You Bring
The position requires extensive physical activity, including up to eight hours of sitting, standing, and walking daily, as well as lifting equipment weighing up to five pounds. Frequent hand and arm movements are needed to operate cameras and tablets, and occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying are required. Photographers must work outdoors in all seasons and be available for rotating weekend schedules. Candidates need at least two years of professional experience, with a focus on real‑estate photography. A recent photography degree or professional background, an FAA Part 107 drone license obtained within 30 days of hire, strong time‑management and detail‑orientation, and proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications are required. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are also mandatory. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researchers, and management. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a driving record check. • Obtain an FAA Part 107 drone certification within 30 days of hire. • Demonstrate strong time‑management, attention to detail, and accurate data entry.
