About the Role

In this role you will leverage engineering expertise and the firm’s technology‑centric edge to collaborate with design engineers, vendors, contractors, and client personnel. Your responsibilities will include designing, testing, making operational, optimizing, and validating electrical systems within 24 × 7 mission‑critical plants, pharmaceutical, healthcare, power‑generation, or similar environments. Key duties involve developing and coordinating functional testing of multi‑stack equipment and redundant system configurations, reviewing specifications, drawings, and submittals, and ensuring compliance through thorough documentation. • Write and administer commissioning plans and systems manuals following Syska format • Participate in, ensure, and oversee QA/QC processes for own work and that of others • Assist senior commissioning engineer or project manager with scheduling, staffing, and budgeting • Perform construction administration and field investigations, including inspections and detailed reports

What You Bring

Ideal candidates possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, at least seven years of hands‑on testing and troubleshooting of large mechanical systems, and eight or more years of MEP field experience, complemented by strong self‑motivation, relationship‑building, and communication skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience with large distribution systems • Minimum 7 years hands‑on testing, validation, and troubleshooting of large mechanical systems • 8+ years relevant MEP field experience • Basic understanding of proper system selection • Basic knowledge of LEED principles applied to building design • Thorough understanding of applicable codes • Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, PECI Cx, or RETRO‑Cx procedures (plus)
