About the Role
The Principal Designer – Piping is tasked with detailed design activities within the piping discipline, ensuring accurate and reliable engineering deliverables. • Perform complex designs and layouts of P&IDs, piping plans, sections, isometrics, and bills of materials using CAD. • Review vendor drawings and related information. • Train and direct designers and other CAD personnel. • Lead project design efforts.

What You Bring
The role operates in a typical office environment with frequent computer use, requiring occasional physical effort such as lifting up to 10 pounds and the ability to sit for extended periods. • Minimum of 5 years CAD experience. • At least 10 years piping design experience in a drafting environment. • Working knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards. • Previous project leadership experience preferred. • Experience with pipeline, compressor station, pump station, or upstream facility projects preferred. • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. • Proficiency with CadWorx and Microsoft Excel. • High school diploma required; associate degree or technical certification preferred. • Strong problem‑solving, results‑orientation, and customer focus. • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
