About the Role
The North America Sustainability Leader will shape and execute sustainability strategies for Kimberly‑Clark’s iconic brands, translating global product sustainability goals—such as plastics, fiber, Scope 3, and social impact—into focused approaches that capture business value and elevate the companies’ market presence. • Develop and deploy sustainability plans for North American product and brand portfolios. • Collaborate with R&D, growth, and functional teams to set plastics, fiber, Scope 3, and social impact targets. • Lead cross‑functional action teams to create and activate sustainability pipelines. • Leverage consumer insights to prioritize initiatives that generate commercial value. • Enable innovative circularity models and embed design‑for‑sustainability in product development. • Partner with brand and innovation teams to launch growth‑driving sustainability initiatives. • Support authentic sustainability marketing and communications activities. • Ensure robust reporting and analytics through digital platforms and tiered accountability. • Remove roadblocks, including cost mitigation and exploration of new sustainability opportunities.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; graduate business degree preferred. • 10+ years leading large‑scale global initiatives in a Fortune 500 environment. • Experience working cross‑functionally with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and related functions. • Proven ability to turn consumer insights into activation plans. • Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and program/change management capabilities. • Excellent communication and influence skills across all organizational levels. • 10+ years focused sustainability experience (preferred). • 10+ years product commercialization experience (preferred). • Demonstrated record of executing on tight timelines (preferred). • Versatile thinking and ability to drive organizational change (preferred).
