About the Role
The New Home Consultant guides homebuyers from first contact to closing, using proactive sales techniques and market knowledge to ensure a seamless experience. The role involves engaging visitors, determining their needs, generating and closing sales via the 10‑5‑2‑1 approach, maintaining communication records, and keeping the Welcome Home Center and model homes in excellent condition. Consultants travel throughout the local community to prospect leads from Realtors, referrals, and self‑prospecting, while staying current on market competition, product offerings, sales trends, and advertising strategies. • Engage visitors, assess home‑buying needs, and apply Lennar’s selling philosophy. • Generate, process, and close home sales using self‑generated or referred leads and the 10‑5‑2‑1 selling approach. • Maintain accurate communication records from initial contact through post‑closing activities. • Keep Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes in optimal condition and coordinate maintenance. • Travel locally to prospect leads from Realtors, referrals, and self‑prospecting activities. • Stay informed on market competition, product offerings, community details, sales trends, and advertising strategies. • Track daily customer traffic using company‑designated tools. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction. • Participate in sales meetings, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive growth.

What You Bring
Successful candidates hold at least a high school diploma (college degree and real‑estate license preferred), have 1‑3 years of relevant sales experience, possess strong relationship‑building and communication skills, and are proficient with Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking tools. The position requires regular on‑site attendance, the ability to work extended hours in construction trailers, operate a vehicle, read plans, climb ladders, and lift equipment over 50 lb, with occasional operation of construction equipment. • High school diploma required; college degree and real‑estate license preferred. • 1‑3 years experience in new‑home sales, real estate, or related field. • Proven ability to build relationships and close sales. • Strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking tools. • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently. • Regular in‑person attendance at communities, job sites, and offices. • Ability to work >8 hours in construction trailers, operate a vehicle, read plans, climb ladders, and lift >50 lb. • Occasionally operate construction equipment; dexterity for keyboard use.
