About the Role

• Perform scheduled, preventative, and corrective maintenance on refrigeration, air‑conditioning and HVAC systems. • Handle refrigerants in compliance with ARCTick licensing requirements. • Provide professional, timely responses to internal and external stakeholders. • Work collaboratively with other trades and subcontractors to support operational delivery.

What You Bring

We are seeking permanent Refrigeration/HVAC Technicians for HMAS Harman in Canberra. The role begins in February 2026 and is open to candidates with defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. • Hold a Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air‑Conditioning. • Possess an ARCTick refrigerant‑handling licence (desirable) and a QBCC or NSW Refrigeration and Air‑Conditioning licence. • Have post‑trade experience in refrigeration, air‑conditioning and HVAC maintenance with strong fault‑diagnosis skills. • Hold a current open driver’s licence and be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required).
