About the Role

The New Home Consultant guides homebuyers through every step of the purchasing process, from the first contact to closing, using proactive sales techniques and strong customer‑relationship management while maintaining a deep understanding of the housing market. In this role you will engage visitors, assess their home‑buying needs, generate and close sales from both self‑generated and referred leads, and maintain accurate communication records throughout the transaction. You will also ensure the Welcome Home Center and model homes are well‑maintained, travel locally to prospect new leads, stay informed on market trends and community details, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless buying experience. • Engage visitors, assess home‑buying needs, and apply Lennar’s selling philosophy • Generate, process, and close sales using self‑generated or referred leads and the 10‑5‑2‑1 selling approach • Maintain accurate communication records and provide follow‑up from initial contact through post‑closing • Ensure Welcome Home Center, model and inventory homes are well‑maintained and address maintenance issues promptly • Travel locally to prospect leads from Realtors, referrals, and self‑prospecting activities • Stay knowledgeable of market competition, community details, sales trends, and advertising strategies • Track daily customer traffic with company tools and collaborate with internal departments for smooth transactions • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive growth

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, with a college degree and real estate license preferred, and bring 1‑3 years of experience in new‑home sales or a related field. Strong relationship‑building, communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills are essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking tools. The position requires regular on‑site presence at community job sites and offices during standard work hours, the ability to work more than eight hours when needed, and physical capabilities such as lifting over 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and operating construction equipment when required. • High school diploma required; college degree and real estate license preferred • 1–3 years experience in new‑home sales, real estate, or related field • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close sales • Strong communication, organization, and customer‑service skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking software • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently • Ability to work onsite regular hours, lift >50 lb, operate a vehicle, read plans, and use construction equipment as needed
