Job Highlights
About the Role
The intern will assist in creating new designs and implementing design changes for on‑highway vocational mobile equipment, ensuring performance parameters and quality targets are met. Work will involve ANSI requirements, BOMs, drawings, engineering change and product development processes, and product specifications. Key duties include supporting Electrical Development Engineers, helping resolve daily production issues, researching new components and materials, developing and performing lab tests for product verification, and assisting with prototype vehicle wiring. These tasks are performed in cross‑functional teams that prioritize internal and external customer needs. • Support Electrical Development Engineers in new product designs and modifications for commercial vehicles. • Participate in cross‑functional teams to identify, coordinate, and prioritize customer needs. • Assist with daily production issue resolution and prototype vehicle wiring. • Research and evaluate new product components, materials, and technologies. • Develop and conduct laboratory tests for new product verification. • Uphold high ethical standards and professional demeanor in all business activities. • Contribute to continuous improvement through root‑cause analysis and implementation of permanent solutions.

What You Bring
Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field, and be proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
