About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck and delivers prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company's safety standards before each run, adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. Key responsibilities include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections of tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls; reading route sheets and following maps to service each customer; operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of refuse at designated facilities; and interacting courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. The driver must identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers, monitor waste for prohibited materials, clean accidental spills in compliance with safety policies, and keep the truck clean by removing waste from the packer blade and body after each disposal trip. Daily paperwork such as route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports must be completed to maintain productivity standards and support the company's ReSOP safety program.

Minimum qualifications include a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
