About the Role

Position Summary: As a Leasing Consultant you will relate and communicate with prospective and current residents, using a warm and energetic personality to create lasting positive impressions. You will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals, manage time effectively, attend to detail, and provide excellent customer service to residents, associates, and vendors. • Walk marketing tour path, open target viewing apartments, and ensure clean, rent‑ready units, model homes, and amenities. • Respond promptly to resident and prospective resident calls and emails each morning. • Answer incoming calls, convert them into walk‑in traffic, and schedule viewing appointments. • Tour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm following the Weidner approach. • Facilitate the application process at the end of tours to ensure successful leasing. • Review and process all applications immediately upon receipt. • Communicate timely and respectfully with applicants regarding results. • Implement the Weidner Move‑In Experience for all approved applicants. • Maintain and follow up on traffic in the leasing queue. • Shop competitive properties monthly and adhere to daily marketing and leasing strategies. • Ensure apartments, common areas, and amenities meet daily quality standards. • Assist with lease renewals promptly and promote resident retention. • Keep the leasing office clean, orderly, and professionally presentable at all times. • Complete tasks safely and efficiently. • Provide clear professional directions in person, over the phone, email, and text. • Follow Weidner’s Mission, Vision, Values, company policies, Fair Housing and all applicable laws. • Maintain prompt attendance and adhere to dress code/uniform and professional appearance.

What You Bring

Qualifications Overview: The role requires prior customer service experience, the ability to work safely in a fast‑paced environment, strong motivation to learn, and effective communication across multiple channels. Preferred proficiency includes Microsoft Office and familiarity with Yardi or Paycom, though the ability to learn new software is essential. Candidates must adhere to Weidner’s mission, policies, Fair Housing laws, maintain professional appearance, possess reliable transportation, and pass background and drug testing requirements. • Prior customer service experience required. • Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with strong motivation to learn and contribute daily. • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred. • Yardi and Paycom experience preferred; willingness to learn new software. • Ability to work outside normal scheduled hours as needed. • Willingness to be assigned to other Weidner properties as needed. • Working knowledge of English; detail‑oriented and well‑organized. • Agree to criminal background check and voluntary drug testing. • Possess reliable personal transportation; valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance.
