About the Role
In this role you will install and commission systems, drawing on knowledge of intruder alarms, CCTV, doorbells and access control. You are expected to deliver a high‑class customer experience, solve problems, build relationships and identify sales opportunities for personal reward. Reliability, self‑motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. You will also promote Johnson Controls’ brand values and keep accurate mileage, expense and timesheet records. • Install and commission intruder alarm, CCTV, video doorbell, and access control systems at residential sites. • Provide high‑standard customer service and build relationships to identify sales opportunities. • Maintain accurate mileage, expense records, and timesheets. • Use smartphones, tablets, and PCs for job-related tasks.

What You Bring
The essential requirements include a full UK manual driver’s licence, the ability to carry and climb ladders and work at height, and practical skills with hand and power tools. You must work safely, avoid injuries and property damage, and dispose of faulty equipment responsibly. Strong communication, relationship‑building skills and proficiency with smartphones, tablets and PCs are also required. Preferred candidates have electrical qualifications or experience and prior experience installing or servicing security systems in a residential environment. A security check will be undertaken after an offer is made. • Work safely with hand and power tools, ladders, and at height. • Hold a full UK manual driver’s licence. • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Preferred: electrical qualifications and prior residential installation experience.
