About the Role

The role coordinates with Waste Management drivers to resolve problems, manage incoming service orders, and use WM’s proprietary software for same‑day ticket routing and next‑day route preparation. Some overtime, Saturday hours, and up to 15% travel may be required. • Dispatch drivers to service calls based on customer needs, driver location, and load information. • Optimize routes with sites and the service department to balance cost and customer satisfaction. • Determine daily driver staffing levels for optimal responsiveness and productivity. • Assign routes and service tickets throughout the day and schedule next‑day routes. • Handle inbound calls and emails, managing pick‑up and delivery requests across the market area. • Communicate with customers while drivers are on‑site to resolve issues promptly. • Troubleshoot and prevent delivery or pick‑up problems before they affect service. • Ensure same‑day service for missed pick‑ups by tracking driver movements in the field.

What You Bring

This is a remote dispatcher position that includes virtual training and operates on a 3am‑7am CST shift. Strong communication and computer skills are preferred, and experience in dispatch, routing, or logistics is a plus.
