About the Role
The role involves performing general warehouse operations and supporting management as the first line of assistance for associates. Depending on the facility’s volume and size, duties may be specialized or encompass all departments. You will coach and train lower‑level warehouse associates, ensure policies and procedures are followed, and demonstrate detailed knowledge of all warehouse roles. Responsibilities include safely operating forklifts or other machinery to load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport goods, as well as operating pallet jacks. You will verify and enter data, maintain work‑area conditions, stock products accurately, and may handle receiving, returns, inventory, order layout, and truck loading while considering load characteristics. With limited supervision, you will modify processes to resolve situations, using independent judgment to achieve desired outcomes. Your actions are guided by interpreting procedures and policies, and your work is periodically reviewed by a supervisor or direct customers. You are also expected to provide general guidance, training, and technical assistance to junior personnel, contributing to their professional development. • Coach and train junior warehouse associates on proper duties and compliance. • Safely operate forklifts and other machinery for loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transporting goods. • Verify and enter inventory data, maintain work‑area condition, and stock products accurately. • Perform receiving, returns, inventory counts, order layout, and truck loading while considering load size and weight. • Modify processes and exercise independent judgment to resolve operational issues. • Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to junior staff without hiring/firing authority.

What You Bring
The work environment is generally comfortable but includes exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb, standing for periods exceeding 60 minutes, and performing repetitive movements such as using a 10‑key or bending. Overnight travel is minimal, typically less than 10 % of the time.
