About the Role
Engineering Sales provides technical advice and support to sales teams, performing technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer‑specific pricing. The specialist will prepare and deliver technical sales briefings for customers and internal representatives, research customer specifications, and estimate the costs, resources, time, and technical requirements for modifying, configuring, and installing solutions. Additionally, they will evaluate sales proposals for technical accuracy, troubleshoot implementation problems, and conduct initial user training. As a senior professional (P3), the specialist applies advanced knowledge gained through education and experience, managing projects or processes with limited supervision. They may coach and review the work of junior professionals, handling complex and challenging problems. In this role you will own proposal development, manage technical and commercial discussions, and gather input from various experts and stakeholders. You will work closely with sales, controlling, legal, financial, and tax teams to devise the best setup and winning strategy, present proposals to top management, ensure high compliance and quality, and submit offers on time. What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of five years’ experience in proposal management or sales support. The ideal applicant is organized, structured, a quick learner, result‑oriented, and capable of making sound business decisions. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required; additional language skills such as French or Spanish are advantageous.
