About the Role

The Engineer develops project scopes, schedules, and budgets, monitors progress, and adjusts plans to stay on track. They coordinate procurement and subcontractor activities, conduct bid analyses, and verify that all work adheres to applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements. In addition, they manage technical personnel, provide performance feedback, and facilitate training and development. They also prepare technical reports, project manuals, and act as the Project Manager’s deputy when needed. • Define project scope, schedule, and budget for infrastructure, landscape, and irrigation elements. • Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet timeline and cost targets. • Coordinate procurement and subcontractor activities with vendors. • Conduct bid analysis to assess supplier capability. • Review engineering work for compliance with codes, standards, and quality requirements. • Manage technical personnel, evaluate performance, and reassign resources as needed. • Provide training and development opportunities for assigned staff. • Support the Project Manager in planning, supervising, and controlling technical, fiscal, and administrative functions. • Prepare technical reports, project manuals, and documentation for clients and management. • Serve as deputy to the Project Manager, attending meetings and handling duties in their absence. • Review and approve change orders and communicate modifications to stakeholders.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil or agricultural engineering and possess at least 15 years of construction supervision experience in infrastructure, landscape, and irrigation projects. A minimum of two years on large‑scale Dubai infrastructure projects and familiarity with NOC procedures, commissioning, and government authority specifications are essential. Proficiency with CAD, engineering software, and strong written and oral communication skills are required. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams, completes the qualification set. • Bachelor’s degree in civil or agricultural engineering. • Minimum 15 years of construction supervision experience in infrastructure, landscape, and irrigation projects. • At least 2 years on large‑scale infrastructure projects in Dubai. • Knowledge of Dubai NOC procedures, commissioning, and government authority specifications. • Strong understanding of engineering codes, standards, and construction health, safety, and environment practices. • Proficiency with CAD and typical engineering/construction software. • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to supervise project teams.
