About the Role

• Review and approve staffing budgets, estimates, and assignment schedules for wet utilities projects. • Maintain appropriate staffing levels, including temporary personnel, and oversee staff forecasting reports. • Manage all wet utilities engineering and design efforts for major programs, coordinating with other disciplines. • Monitor design quality and progress to ensure production, design, and technical requirements are met. • Collaborate with Project Managers to resolve staffing, quality, schedule, or productivity issues. • Establish standards, design criteria, and procedure manuals, recommending departmental improvements. • Support pre‑contract and business development as a technical consultant for wet utilities pursuits. • Ensure discipline performance stays within authorized overhead budgets. • Participate in the Quality Improvement Program and lead or join discipline committees and working groups. • Mentor, motivate, and develop assigned personnel.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. • Minimum 15 years of experience in wet utilities (potable water, TSE, foul sewer) engineering and design, including supervisory roles. • Professional Engineer (PE) registration and active membership in a relevant engineering society, as required. • Proven ability to lead wet utilities engineering and design teams. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • In‑depth knowledge of industry practices, authority standards, and regulations for wet utilities systems. • Familiarity with current wet utilities design technology and engineering/modeling software.
