About the Role

Working on the bridge team gives interns the chance to contribute to transformative projects that improve transportation infrastructure and community connectivity. The team's focus spans highways, bridges, and traffic engineering, delivering resilient, sustainable designs for multimodal roadway systems that ensure safe, efficient, and reliable travel. • Perform structural analysis, including finite‑element 3D modeling, design, and drafting for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structures. • Assist with quantity calculations and contribute to project cost estimates. • Develop construction contract documents and review shop and working drawings. • Coordinate activities with other engineering disciplines as directed. • Review inspection reports and conduct bridge load ratings under supervision.
