About the Role
The Loan Officer role is a full‑time outside‑sales position that focuses on developing relationships with prospective customers, brokers, NHCs, and other referral sources. The position involves meeting clients at homebuilding communities or other convenient locations, analyzing financial information, advising on mortgage products, and guiding borrowers through the loan approval process. • Generate new business through weekly travel to communities, realtor offices, and builder events. • Conduct First‑Time Homebuyer seminars to build leads and relationships. • Meet prospective customers, present loan options, collect applications, and attend closings. • Review daily leads and schedule in‑person or virtual meetings via phone and email. • Originate and prepare loans in compliance with product guidelines and company policies. • Advise borrowers on suitable mortgage products based on their financial needs. • Lock interest rates per secondary‑marketing policies at least 15 days before closing. • Support New Home Consultants with pre‑qualification and pipeline development. • Achieve or surpass closed‑loan capture targets and division sales goals. • Maintain accurate prospect and loan status records in the origination system.

What You Bring
• Hold a four‑year degree (preferred) and minimum three years of loan‑originating experience. • Possess a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and flexible schedule including evenings/weekends. • Obtain or hold an NMLS license as required.
