About the Role
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining electrical design specifications and models according to industry standards, performing design reviews and updates, and managing design tasks to meet project milestones. The engineer will assess technical risks, drive mitigation strategies, partner with customers to incorporate requirements, and collaborate with supply‑chain teams to ensure manufacturable, cost‑aware designs. Clear documentation, continuous‑improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance are also essential. • Develop and maintain electrical design specifications and models aligned with industry standards. • Conduct design reviews, verifications, and targeted updates to enhance quality and performance. • Manage design tasks to meet project milestones, timelines, and commitments. • Assess technical risks and implement mitigation strategies and innovative solutions. • Collaborate with customers to integrate requirements and feedback into designs. • Work with supply‑chain teams to create efficient, manufacturable, cost‑aware designs. • Prepare and maintain clear documentation for execution and knowledge sharing. • Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities based on testing data and best practices. • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. • Apply knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, UL, CSA, NEC standards and design‑to‑cost principles. • Operate independently, delivering high‑quality results with minimal supervision.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least two years of transformer electrical design experience. They should be familiar with power industry standards such as IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, UL, CSA and NEC, understand transformer design parameters and design‑to‑cost principles, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Eligible applicants must have work authorization for employment in the United States. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years transformer design experience. • Obtain work authorization for employment in the United States.
