About the Role
The QA Representative will collaborate closely with the site team—including the Project Manager, Project Engineer, Office Engineer, and other QA staff—to ensure project success. Supervision is received from the Site Project Manager, with no supervisory responsibilities assigned. This position is part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions segment, delivering critical services to U.S. government customers across defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental domains. • Perform daily QA inspections and construction observations, enforcing safety standards. • Implement Parsons QA process and adhere to the supplemental Quality Assurance Plan for the site. • Conduct and document quality assurance inspections, testing, and submittal reviews. • Review contractor submittals, provide written recommendations, and monitor review timeliness. • Evaluate construction methods, QC plans, and ensure compliance with contract documents and safety analyses. • Analyze daily quality control and safety reports to verify proper documentation and safe work practices. • Submit daily QA reports within 24 hours of inspections. • Participate in pre‑construction, progress, and coordination meetings with government and contractors. • Execute preparatory inspections to confirm readiness of submittals, materials, safety analyses, qualified personnel, and equipment before work begins. • Monitor identification, tracking, and resolution of construction deficiencies and verify corrective actions.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced Quality Assurance Representatives to join a major program and construction management team supporting a large government customer on a critical United States border security infrastructure project. The role provides Owner Agent Construction Management Services, including program and construction management, risk management, scheduling, cost estimating, progress reporting, construction quality assurance, safety, and other supporting services. Work will be performed from a project office or trailer located on construction sites, which may be in remote locations. • Minimum 5 years QA/safety oversight on large multi‑million‑dollar federal construction projects (horizontal construction, earthwork, concrete, etc.). • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent construction‑related experience. • Experience with web‑based project management/QA software (e.g., Procore, Kahua, USACE RMS, NAVFAC eCMS). • U.S. citizenship, ability to pass federal background checks, valid driver’s license, and physical capability to work on rough terrain. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to obtain DHS suitability determination. • Experience reviewing CPM schedules and identifying potential delays. • Prior work on large remote construction projects. • Completion of Construction Quality Management or OSHA 30‑hour safety training within the past 5 years.
