About the Role
• Lead delivery of complex, multi‑disciplinary building projects across health, education, defence, transport, commercial, aviation, sports, and data centre sectors in Australia. • Provide technical leadership and governance for electrical building services design, ensuring compliance with Australian codes, standards, and best‑practice engineering principles. • Review design calculations, specifications, models and documentation to drive innovation, quality and coordinated outcomes. • Build and maintain trusted client relationships to support business development and secure a strong pipeline of high‑profile projects. • Strengthen AECOM’s Building Services capability across ANZ by contributing to strategy, team growth and capability development. • Inclusive hiring practice welcoming candidates of all backgrounds and providing adjustments for disabilities or neurodiversity.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with 15+ years consultancy experience delivering complex building services projects. • Possess Chartered status (CPEng) or equivalent registration and be eligible for state‑level professional registration. • Demonstrate deep technical expertise in discipline‑related design and thorough knowledge of Australian codes, standards and regulations. • Exhibit exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills with clients, contractors, consultants and senior project teams. • Proven track record in project and commercial management, leading multi‑disciplinary teams on technically challenging projects. • Australian citizenship and eligibility for Defence Security Clearance (Baseline or Negative Vetting 1) highly preferred.
