About the Role
The Leasing Consultant role is responsible for leasing, marketing, and resident relations at a property, ensuring timely lease processing, prospect follow‑up, and resident satisfaction. • Show properties, qualify prospects, conduct tours, and close leases. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, and maintain model units. • Complete leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits and unit turn processes. • Track prospect traffic, respond to leads within 24 hours, and meet leasing goals using sales and marketing strategies. • Handle resident complaints, requests, and implement retention programs such as events and newsletters. • Perform administrative tasks and maintain cleanliness of office and common areas. • Assist with annual marketing plan, conduct market surveys, and report weekly market conditions. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Maintain basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Meet physical demands such as climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lb, and working overtime, weekends, or adverse weather.
