About the Role

The Receiving and Freight Elevator Coordinator is responsible for managing the receiving area and freight elevator, ensuring they remain safe, orderly, and clean. The role includes verifying licenses, insurances, and permits for service providers and contractors, enforcing parking and association rules, and providing excellent communication and customer service. Key duties involve securing the receiving office, scheduling elevator usage for resident moves, registering deliveries, issuing parking and ID passes, monitoring contractor activity, completing reports, and adhering to all safety protocols. The coordinator must also report any issues to the supervisor and perform other assigned tasks. • Keep the receiving area and freight elevator securely unlocked and unattended only when authorized. • Prevent blockage of the receiving area at all times. • Schedule freight elevator use for resident moves in accordance with association policy. • Register all deliveries and packages, including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and registered mail. • Report problems to the supervisor, including issues beyond the role's scope. • Issue parking passes to approved vehicles. • Register and distribute ID passes to contractors. • Monitor contractor and maintenance staff activity through logs. • Complete all required reports accurately and on time. • Follow safety precautions and maintain a safe work environment.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably have prior experience with receiving operations.
