About the Role
The Accounting Clerk must understand accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliations and financial statement preparation, and be able to multitask while paying attention to detail in a fast‑paced, cross‑department environment. The role provides timely and accurate payment processing by handling semi‑weekly accounts payable checks. The position involves processing payables, maintaining accurate reports and ledger entries, and ensuring balanced asset and liability accounts across multiple financial centers. • Input credit and debit transactions to support accounts payable. • Develop and maintain accounts payable reports and files. • Record general ledger entries for account changes. • Maintain reports on asset and liability balances. • Ensure accurate corporate balancing of teller inputs from ten financial centers. • Generate regular reports via the accounting system.
