About the Role
In this role you will support the operation of rail solutions, ensure work follows approved manuals and contract requirements, and contribute to equipment reliability. You will also engage with continuous‑improvement initiatives and collaborate with customers and internal teams. • Conduct preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on MTU rail equipment. • Follow approved manuals and contract specifications for all work. • Participate in continuous‑improvement and suggest process enhancements. • Perform fault diagnosis using technical drawings and guides. • Document maintenance activities and obtain customer sign‑off where required. • Adhere to HSQE processes and maintain site cleanliness. • Report parts usage to ensure accurate stock control. • Utilise IT systems such as Go!Care, C4S, eWeb, Go!Manage, Go, Diasys and Outlook.

What You Bring
Applicants must have an engineering background, at least an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), strong safety awareness and proficiency in MS Office. Training on SAP and the MTU Business Portal will be provided. Preferred qualities include proactivity, initiative, strong organisational skills, flexibility and the ability to work well with others. • Hold NVQ Level 2 Engineering (or equivalent) with strong safety awareness. • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and email; trained on SAP and MTU Business Portal. • Demonstrate proactivity, initiative, strong organisational skills and teamwork.
