About the Role

The Lead Field Technician role is designed for experienced BAS professionals seeking a balance of challenge and autonomy. You will act as the on‑site expert, leading complex commissioning projects, solving deep system problems, and shaping building performance while mentoring newer technicians. • Lead commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration issues across multiple platforms • Integrate third‑party systems using BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks • Configure controls, trends, alarms, and reports; manage secure network connections • Mentor junior technicians and deliver customer training

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of building automation, HVAC, or related experience • Ability to work at heights, lift up to 50 lb, and maintain a valid driver’s license • Proficiency with building automation software such as WebCTRL and control installation • Associate or Bachelor degree or technical certificate in HVAC, controls, or related field (preferred) • Expertise with TCP/IP networks, wireless technology, and integration of diverse BAS platforms • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
