About the Role
Key responsibilities include medium‑to‑long‑term resource planning aligned with tender and project forecasts, ensuring departmental KPIs such as on‑time delivery, quality and productivity, and meeting financial budgets. You will review and approve techno‑economic offers, assess risks and opportunities, and conduct routine reviews with project, cross‑functional, supplier and customer teams. You will recruit staff within the headcount budget, oversee compliance with Hitachi Energy Group standards, health and safety, and drive process improvements when needed. Additional duties involve technical support, personnel assessments, target setting, development planning, succession planning, and motivating the team to maintain high energy. Participation in the unit’s strategic work, development of local strategy, future scope expansion, and operational development for the local organization are expected, along with ensuring adherence to external and internal regulations and embodying Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity. • Plan and allocate resources for medium‑to‑long‑term projects based on tender forecasts. • Ensure departmental KPIs (on‑time delivery, quality, productivity) and meet financial budgets. • Review, approve, and assess techno‑economic offers, identifying risks and opportunities. • Conduct routine reviews with project, cross‑functional, supplier, and customer teams. • Recruit and onboard personnel within the headcount budget while maintaining compliance and safety standards. • Drive process improvements, provide technical support, and oversee compliance with Hitachi Energy policies. • Manage personnel assessments, set targets, develop talent, and implement succession planning. • Contribute to unit strategic planning, local strategy development, and operational growth.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and possess at least 15 years of experience in Substation AC C&P & SAS and Telecom Engineering design and operations. Required knowledge includes power systems and control, protection, process structuring and management, strong attention to detail, proficiency with Office tools, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Hold a bachelor’s degree and 15+ years experience in Substation AC C&P, SAS, and Telecom Engineering design/operations. • Demonstrate expertise in power systems, control, protection, process management, and strong communication skills.
