About the Role
The position involves safely operating a heavy-duty truck on assigned transfer routes, moving waste containers for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Drivers must adhere to OSHA, DOT, and company regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. Each shift begins with a detailed inspection and ends with documentation of any issues. Unsafe conditions, incidents, or service calls are reported immediately to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Regular training, briefings, and collaboration with management help improve route efficiency and address problem accounts. Responsibilities include dumping containers, cleaning the work area, positioning containers correctly on customer property, and completing customer tickets for excess yardage. All route assignments are followed throughout the day, and end-of-day paperwork is submitted. • Operate heavy-duty truck safely on transfer routes following OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report and report any issues. • Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or service calls to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Dump containers, ensure customer sites are left clean, and position containers properly on property. • Complete and submit customer tickets and end-of-route documentation.

What You Bring
Qualifications require a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License, a minimum age of 18, and an acceptable driving record. Candidates must pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical examination, background check, and motor-vehicle-record review. No prior experience or formal education is necessary. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and be at least 18 years old. • Pass pre-employment DOT drug screening, physical, background check, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
