About the Role
As a Structural Design EIT/Coordinator you will conduct analyses to develop design options, assist in cost estimates and specifications, perform routine engineering assignments, work independently on small projects or support senior engineers on larger ones, guide clerical and technical staff, and handle additional duties as required. • Conduct structural analyses and develop design options or recommendations. • Assist in preparing cost estimates and specifications for projects. • Perform routine engineering assignments using standard techniques. • Manage small projects independently or support senior engineers on larger ones. • Provide direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed. • Actively engage in HDR’s employee‑owned, inclusive culture.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications include an Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certificate; candidates without it will be titled “Coordinator” and are expected to obtain the EIT for career progression. Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, and a commitment to actively participate in HDR’s employee‑owned culture. • Hold an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate or obtain it for progression. • Possess a bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software (AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE).
