What You Bring
Rydon Maintenance is seeking an experienced Plumber/Multi Trader to join its housing repairs team in Brockley, London. The role is part of the expanding Rydon Group, which provides facilities management services primarily to healthcare and housing association clients. This full‑time permanent position involves carrying out responsive plumbing repairs on occupied properties for a local housing association contract. The role also requires additional trade skills such as plastering, minor electrical work, mould washing, and tiling. You will be equipped with a company van, fuel card and a PDA to receive jobs, plan schedules and sign off completed work. Working hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The preferred candidate will have previous experience in the social housing environment, a City & Guilds/NVQ qualification in plumbing, a full UK driving licence, and excellent communication skills for interacting confidently with residents. • Communicate clearly and confidently with residents and team members. • Hold a City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in plumbing. • Possess a full UK driving licence. • Bring prior experience in the social housing sector.
