About the Role
The carpenter will plan, layout, and execute all types of carpentry work in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. The role also involves assisting in other trades as appropriate under project supervision. Emphasis is placed on producing high‑quality work safely and productively. • Eliminate waste by reducing waiting, rework, transport, and storage delays. • Apply advanced trade mathematics to calculations and measurements. • Inspect subordinate work for accuracy, compliance, and address deficiencies. • Identify improvement opportunities, share knowledge, and mentor team members. • Maintain positive relationships with crew members. • Deliver high‑quality carpentry work safely and productively. • Ensure necessary materials, tools, and information are available for tasks. • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and safety/quality standards. • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, climbing ladders, and working 12‑hour shifts in varying conditions. • Participate in employee stock ownership plan and 401(k) retirement savings.

What You Bring
The position requires at least two years of journeyman carpenter experience, including bridge and wall construction; ADOT experience is a plus. Candidates must pass pre‑employment drug testing, be available for overtime, and will be compensated $34.50 per hour plus cash fringe benefits. The anticipated project duration is approximately three years.
