About the Role
The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for the full‑site operations of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative and risk management functions. The role requires on‑site leadership to ensure compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards and fair‑housing guidelines. • Recruit, hire, train, coach and develop on‑site staff while maintaining daily attendance and schedules. • Address performance issues, document actions, coordinate with supervisors and HR, and enforce termination procedures when needed. • Drive net operating income by controlling costs, improving leasing revenue, developing budgets and monitoring financial reconciliations. • Create and execute annual marketing plans, oversee leasing processes, respond to resident complaints, and implement retention programs. • Ensure accurate and timely administrative and leasing reports, manage emergency response, and maintain high customer‑service standards. • Conduct regular property inspections, coordinate maintenance, construction and rehabilitation activities, and oversee vendor and contractor bidding. • Maintain reliable transportation to satisfy on‑call emergency response obligations.

What You Bring
• Meet education requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree, CAM/ARM certification or relevant experience preferred. • Demonstrate proficiency with on‑site software, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Fulfill physical demands such as standing, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and handling emergency situations in various weather conditions.

Benefits
Compensation includes a salary range of $24 k–$27 k per year plus a comprehensive total‑rewards package that features medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) matching, performance bonuses, paid sick days and holidays. The position requires reliable transportation for on‑call emergencies and may involve overtime, weekends and night hours.
