About the Role
The Electrical Technician role is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures while ensuring compliance with applicable codes. This full‑time position typically works 50 hours per week, with schedules varying according to project needs, and requires up to 90 % travel to project sites. • Promote and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. • Ensure proper functioning and conduct scheduled checks of all electrical units. • Use and handle electrical testing and repair equipment safely. • Complete tasks assigned by the supervising manager. • Maintain electrical inventory records and order spare parts as needed. • Log all electrical repair and maintenance activities. • Maintain a professional appearance on the job site. • Participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors. • Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals. • Perform accurate arithmetic calculations and unit conversions. • Follow precise standards of accuracy and established procedures. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. • Lift and carry objects up to 50 lb; climb, stoop, kneel, crawl as required. • Visualize objects from drawings and evaluate details against standards.

What You Bring
The job demands physical stamina, including up to 12‑hour shifts in changing weather, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb, and frequent climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and work at heights while wearing required personal protective equipment. Workers must also adapt to noisy, dusty and temperature‑extreme environments and comply with all safety and fall‑protection standards. Applicants must have at least four years of related experience or training, with NCCER certification preferred, and must demonstrate knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs, accurate arithmetic and unit‑conversion skills, and the ability to read technical documents and drawings.
