About the Role
The firm is seeking a Dams Engineering Project Manager for the East Region, reporting to offices in locations such as Atlanta, Buffalo, Charlotte, and others. The role involves managing dam safety engineering projects, maintaining client relationships, handling contracts, planning and executing work, overseeing financial and technical aspects, managing change, and leading project teams and subcontractors. • Build and maintain project schedules for delivering project success including the management of resources, budgets and risk. • Plan and manage the execution of field investigations for various hydraulic structures and embankments. • Communicate with multi-disciplinary teams on various projects related to dams and other hydraulic structures. • Perform quality reviews of other Engineer's work on deliverables such as design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings and technical specifications. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with coursework in geotechnical, structural, or hydrology/hydraulics and have at least six years of relevant experience, be a licensed Professional Engineer (or obtain the PE within six months), possess a valid U.S. driver’s license, and be a U.S. citizen. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, experience with dams and hydraulic structures, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, AECOM Project Manager certification, proficiency with Power BI, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Procore or e‑Builder, and strong verbal and written communication skills. • Flexibility and willingness to travel for project work part time as needed.
