About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports property upkeep by handling corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, and assists with make‑ready processes under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Perform daily maintenance, repairs, and replacements for common areas, buildings, and resident units. • Respond promptly to resident and management work orders and service requests. • Conduct swimming pool upkeep, cleaning, and maintain accurate chemical logs. • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to extend property lifespan and reduce future repairs. • Maintain a well‑organized, stocked maintenance shop while complying with OSHA and safety policies. • Assist in scheduling and completing make‑ready turnover events and unit inspections. • Keep detailed records of service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventative maintenance, and make‑ready status. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and report safety hazards or policy violations. • Deliver excellent customer service, ensure consistent resident interactions, and uphold community policies.

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations, reliable transportation for on‑call emergencies, and the physical ability to perform labor‑intensive tasks. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer proficiency. • Understand Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. • Ability to lift/handle objects 100+ lbs, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions. • Reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.
