Junior Installer

About the Role

As a Junior Installer you will learn and grow as part of a team, repair and maintain HVAC equipment, ensure safe operation of gas appliances, and be flexible across service, installation, and warehouse roles. You will also build positive customer relationships, promote additional Reliance products, and communicate effectively to ensure satisfaction. • Repair and maintain HVAC equipment and accessories according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. • Ensure safe operation of gas appliances and instruct customers on proper care and maintenance. • Perform service, water‑heater installation, and assistance duties in the field or warehouse as assigned. • Build positive customer relationships and promote additional Reliance products and services. • Provide necessary tools, fully stocked trucks, and ongoing skills training. • Ensure a predictable, stable work schedule with consistent work. • Recognize high performers with perks such as the President’s Club tropical trip. • Promote an award‑winning, inclusive corporate culture. • Punctual, dependable, and maintain company vehicle in clean, safe condition.

What You Bring

Candidates should demonstrate a growth mindset, dependability, and ambition, have at least a Grade 12 education, hold a valid Class 5 driver’s licence, and be able to work rotating shifts and standby duties. They must meet the physical demands of the role, possess strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and customer service skills, and be punctual and reliable. • Communicate effectively and solve problems to achieve customer satisfaction. • Possess a growth mindset, dependability, and ambition. • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education. • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s licence. • Ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties. • Physically capable of lifting 15 kg to shoulder height and performing frequent bending, squatting/kneeling in various weather conditions. • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and customer service skills. • Prior HVAC experience or knowledge of heating, cooling, and boiler trades is an asset.
